Happenstance (a dodgy knee) took me from playing football at Newport County FC to advertising. I somehow graduated from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design.
Then, after a brief stint making coffee for people at BBH London, I was hired by Vinny Warren (creator of Budweiser Whassup and lots of other really good ads) at his newly launched agency The Escape Pod in Chicago.
Our Wheat Thins work was the first campaign to result in a brand becoming a trending topic on Twitter ever (without paying). And in 2011 I was included in Adweek’s Talent 100 List, shortlisted at Cannes for Wheat Thins and Lunchables and won a gold David Ogilvy award in the digital media category.
In 2013 I moved back to the UK and was hired by Paul Silburn at Saatchi & Saatchi London. I left not long after he did in 2016 and am currently freelancing around at places like Anomaly, AKQA, Droga5, Ogilvy and Wieden + Kennedy.
